Tournament info
Starting in 1975, the Masters Snooker Tournament (officially the Cazoo Masters Snooker Tournament) is the second-longest-running snooker tourney in the world. The World Snooker Tour began it as an invitational for the top 10 players. Nine years after they started the event (1984), they changed things. According to the world rankings, the standard invitees are the top 16 players. Though he is not the #1 seed, Ronnie O’ Sullivan has the most Masters wins with seven titles. Stephen Hendry has 6, and everyone else has fewer than half the titles O’Sullivan has. Of course, that will likely change soon.
